Redmond Walton was born and raised in North County San Diego and thrilled to join Walton Law Firm, his family's business.
Redmond received his undergraduate degree from UC Santa Cruz, where he received his B.S. in Earth Science and was a member of the school's surf team. He then enrolled at California Western School of Law, where he was a member of the Deans List and Editor of the California Western Law Review. His article Not Bluffing: Resolving Doctrinal Ambiguities in California's Natural Condition Immunity as Climate Change Heightens Risks of Injuries on Public Lands was published in the California Western Law Review. In law school, Redmond served as a Judicial Extern for Hon. Dana Sabraw, Chief Federal Judge of the Southern District of California, and was also selected as a Cal Western Teaching Fellow (Torts), providing academic support for fellow law students. He graduated from law school Cum Laude in 2023.
In his free time, Redmond is an avid surfer. Before entering the practice of law, he was an ocean lifeguard for nearly 10 years, working several different North County beaches.
